Lane Keep Assist
ProPILOT’s Lane Keep Assist system helps to guide you along the road. When your Nissan senses you drifting toward a lane marker, Lane Departure Warning responds with a soft alert, while Lane Centre Assist delivers a subtle correction, softly guiding you back to safety. (1)
With the system engaged, the heaviest traffic feels light again. Your Nissan handles acceleration and braking, adjusting speed to the flow of traffic. In stop-and-go conditions, it brings you to a smooth stop, and moves off again as traffic clears.(1)
With Traffic Sign Recognition integrated into ProPilot with NaviLink, speed limit changes are handled effortlessly in advance, alerting you of speed changes along your journey. (1)
Frequently asked questions
We’ve built ProPILOT to be a robust partner on the road, but like all camera and radar-based systems, its "eyes" can be affected by extreme weather. In very heavy rain, thick fog, or direct blinding sunlight, the system may temporarily deactivate and alert you to take full control. We always recommend keeping the windscreen area in front of the camera clean for the best performance.(1)
We’ve made it simple to tailor your driving experience. You can quickly access the "Driver Assistance" menu through the steering wheel toggles on your digital dashboard to adjust or temporarily silence the Lane Departure Warning if you find it distracting on narrow country lanes.
