Before starting this 3 step activation process, please make sure you set up your Amazon device and connect it to your WiFi network.
Step 1 : Download the Amazon Alexa app and log in
Install the free Amazon Alexa app on your phone from the Google Play or App Store.
If you haven’t already created an Amazon Alexa account, make sure to create one beforehand.
You can also choose to use the Nissan skill from any Amazon Echo device.
Step 2: Find and enable the Nissan Skill
Access the Amazon Alexa app, go to ‘Skills & Games’ to find and enable the Nissan skill.
1. Access the Amazon Alexa app
2. Tap on the ‘More’ tab, located at the bottom right part of the screen. Then select ‘Skills & Games’.
3. Click on the Search button at the top right part of the screen and type ‘Nissan’. Then select the Skill to enable it
Step 3: Link the skill to your NissanConnect Services account
Add your car by linking your Amazon Alexa account to your NissanConnect Services account.
1. Click on the ‘Settings’ button and select ‘Link Account
2.Login with your NissanConnect Services credentials. If you haven’t created one, make sure to create a NissanConnect Ser vices account by following the 6 step activation process available here
3.Your account is now linked. You can start using the Nissan skill by saying ‘Alexa, ask Nissan to give me a tutorial’.
