Balmoral Competition 2025 – Formula E Simulator Daily Competition

4. To enter this Promotion, participants must visit the Nissan stand at the Balmoral Show 2025 and complete at least one full lap on the Formula E racing Simulators on the event stand and complete the entry form (via our iPad) to provide their details (name and email address). The participant’s lap time will be noted. 

5.  There will be one winner chosen in relation to each day (four winners in total across the four days). The winner will be the eligible person with the fastest official time on the Formula E Simulator for the relevant day.

6. In the event of a tie (dead heat) for the fastest lap on any given day, the prize will be awarded at random to one of the participants with the joint fastest lap under a random draw under a process that will be supervised by an independent person (or, at the Promoter’s discretion, the prize may be awarded to each of the people with the fastest lap for that day).

7. Participants may enter on multiple days across the four-day period, but they can only win the "fastest lap" once.

8. All winners will be officially selected on Monday 19th May. On or around 19 May (or in any event no later than 30 days after the end of the Promotion Period), the winners will be notified via the email address provided by them at the time they entered the Promotion, and a link to the voucher will be sent to the same email address shortly thereafter.

9. Participants acknowledge that the personal data they provide will be processed in connection with the Promotion and in accordance with Promoter’s Privacy Notice, which is available at https://www.nissan.co.uk/gdpr.html.

10. By entering the Promotion, each participant acknowledges that in the event they win, their surname and county of residence may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Any participant may object to their information being made available in this way, or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting Promoter using the contact details at the end of these Rules. In these circumstances, the participant acknowledges that Promoter may nevertheless disclose the relevant information, and the participant’s entry, to the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (and/or any other competent authority) if required to do so. This may happen where Promoter is required to demonstrate that it has awarded the prizes advertised. To request disclosure of winners’ details, enquirers must submit a request to support@nissan-events.com within one month after Promotion Period. Details will only be disclosed(if permitted by law) after the Prizes have been awarded.

12. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available. However, if Promoter considers it appropriate, or if it becomes necessary for reasons beyond Promoter’s control, a Prize may be swapped for a suitable alternative in Promoter’s discretion (of the same or greater value).

13.  Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, the Promoter, its associated companies and its agents exclude responsibility and all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law arising under or in relation to this Promotion, including in respect of (without limitation): a) any postponement or cancellation of the Promotion; b) any changes to, supply of or use of the Prize; and c) any act or default or technical issue of any third party supplier which is beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.    

14. The Promoter and/or its agencies do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure, regardless of cause, including, for example, equipment failure, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind, which may restrict, delay or prevent the transmission or receipt of your entry, any communication with you or your receipt or use of any prize. Participants should check their spam or junk mail folders for emails from the Promoter.

15.  The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all participants and no correspondence will be entered into.

16. Promoter reserves the right to vary, suspend or cancel the Promotion and/or these Rules if it considers it necessary or appropriate to do so, including if there is any actual or anticipated breach of applicable law or if variation, suspension or cancellation is necessary due to an event outside Promoter’s reasonable control. In the event of cancellation, the Prizes may be awarded to winners drawn from entries received prior to cancellation, if applicable and if appropriate.

17. If the Promoter has grounds to suspect any participant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent or unsportsman-like conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating the Promotion or any entry) the Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any participant, entry or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity.

 18.  The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Balmoral or Formula E and by entering the Promotion you release Balmoral and Formula E from any action or claim arising out of the Promotion.

19.  The Promotion and these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with the Promotion.

20. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions in full will be void and/or the relevant Participant will be disqualified.
