Nissan Juke 2026 Owners Manual

8.9.1. Towing precautions

  • When towing: Make sure that the transmission, axles, steering system and power train are in working condition before towing. If any units are damaged, the vehicle must be towed using a dolly or be placed on a flat bed lorry.

  • Release the parking brake and shift the transmission into the N (Neutral) position before starting to tow the vehicle.

  • Always attach safety chains before towing.

If for safety reasons the vehicle must be moved off the road on its own wheels, towing is permitted only for a maximum distance of 100m (330 ft) and at a maximum speed of 20 km/h (12 MPH).

You must shift the transmision to N (Neutral).

Failure to comply with these limits may result in damage to the vehicle.
